Value of development land transactions down by 40 per cent

The total value of transactions was down by 41 per cent compared to the same period in 2016

This year began with a relatively quiet opening quarter in the development land market. According to the latest figures from Cushman & Wakefield, about 65 development land sales were sold for more than €120 million in the Greater Dublin Area (GDA), Cork, Galway and Limerick.

The total value of transactions was down by 41 per cent compared to the same period in 2016, while the number of sales increased by 67 per cent.
