Valeo to invest €17m in Tuam facility

French-owned Valeo Vision Systems has announced that it is to invest €17 million in its facility at Tuam in Galway in an expansion that is likely to create 100 new jobs.

French-owned Valeo Vision Systems has announced that it is to invest €17 million in its facility at Tuam in Galway in an expansion that is likely to create 100 new jobs.

The company, which develops technology for the automotive sector, is putting most of the investment behind an expanded research and development facility in Tuam.

Fergus Moyles, product line director at Valeo, said that the company had already recruited 60 per cent of the new positions....
