UTV Irish radio still expected to outperform

UTV Media's Irish radio business is expected to once again outperform the broader market despite falling revenues, writes Siobhán Brett.

UTV Media's Irish radio business is expected to once again outperform the broader market despite falling revenues, while the company's British divisions should compensate for Irish weakness, according to analysts.

On Tuesday, the diversified media group is expected to report flat revenue for the full year to December 2012, with some margin for loss allowed due to deteriorating trading conditions in both radio and TV advertising markets.
