One of the benefits of the boom in our economy during the Celtic tiger years was that it attracted back to Ireland many very skilled and experienced business people.

Some of them were executives who had gone abroad to pursue careers, and took advantage of the then strength of the economy to come back to their roots. Others were executives from overseas who were attracted by the opportunities in Ireland.
