John Ryding has a story on US bond yields, and he's sticking to it. Bear Stearns's chief US economist forecast last January that the ten-year Treasury note yield, then about 4.16 per cent, would rise to 5.75 per cent by the end of the year.
Instead, the yield has gone the other way, declining to 3.89 per cent last week.
