I read with great interest the article entitled ‘The price of mobility' (Computers in Business, March 2005) that exposed the high costs of mobile phones, and the obscene profits that Vodafone and O2 make in Ireland.

I read with great interest the article entitled ‘The price of mobility' (Computers in Business, March 2005) that exposed the high costs of mobile phones, and the obscene profits that Vodafone and O2 make in Ireland.

A few pages later, in the same supplement, I spotted the headline ‘Mobiles can boost profits', together with a photograph of the commercial director of O2 Ireland.

Ironic, or not?
