Upto €10m invested in Fingleton-backed Montenegro project

Former Irish Nationwide chief Executive Michael Fingleton is believed to have invested between €5 million and €10 million in a stalled hotel development project with Irish businessman Louis Maguire in the Montenegrin town of Kotor.

Former Irish Nationwide chief Executive Michael Fingleton is believed to have invested between €5 million and €10 million in a stalled hotel development project with Irish businessman Louis Maguire in the Montenegrin town of Kotor.

The investment was part of a joint venture to build a €200 million luxury hotel.

Official company records from Montenegro show that Fingleton is a director of two companies registered in nearby Petrovac.
