Upstart Games, the Dublin mobile gaming company that was bought three months ago for €11.5 million, recorded a loss of almost €150,000 in its last financial year, writes Ian Kehoe.

Accounts just filed for the Dublin company show that it had retained losses of €416,000 for the year ending December 31, 2005.The company had retained losses of €275,000 at the end of 2004.

The accounts avail of an exemption in the Companies Act and do not reveal...
