Upper end is driving the market in Cork

It has been a good year for secondhand residential property in Cork, with double-digit increases recorded in many areas.

According to Richard Nagle of Global Properties in Cork, who is also president of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers, prices in the secondhand market in Cork increased by between 8 and 12 per cent in 2004, depending on location.
