UPC launches on-demand TV in Ireland

TV and broadband provider UPC, will on Friday launch on-demand TV for some Dublin customers and will extend the service to all customers through the summer.

TV and broadband provider UPC, will on Friday launch on-demand TV for some Dublin customers and will extend the service to all customers through the summer.

The service offers customers catch-up TV from the RTE Player and 3player services and over 1,300 hours of box sets and series for free.

It will also have a paid-for movies-on-demand rental service, with newly released movies costing €4.99 in standard definition.
