In a climate where access to credit lines is becoming more and more restricted, crowdfunding has emerged as the 'new kid on the block' when it comes to raising finance. Crowdfunding is the term given to the practice of funding a project or business by the collective effort of individuals who pool their resources, frequently coming together via the internet, and in return receive rewards, typically in the form of vouchers or a gift.
