Unionist politicians and paramilitaries unite

Loyalist paramilitaries, helped by unionist politicians, last week unloaded 200,000 leaflets at symbolic Larne harbour urging Protestants to ‘Love Ulster and Save Ulster' from a United Ireland, writes Colm Heatley.

Edward Carson, the unionist politician who first armed the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF),would have approved of events at Larne harbour last week.

Senior loyalist paramilitaries, helped by unionist politicians, unloaded 200,000 news-sheets urging Protestants to ‘Love Ulster and Save Ulster' from the threat of a united Ireland.
