Union Investment to fund Burlington House

Union Investment, the Frankfurt-based asset management and investment arm of DZ Bank Group, is to fund the development of Burlington House, the largest new prime office building in Dublin city centre.

The Burlington House site was acquired by British investment firm Development Securities, or DevSec, in a joint venture with companies affiliated with Paddy McKillen, Johnny Ronan and California-based hedge fund Colony Capital in June 2014. It was previously occupied by a 1970s office building which has since been demolished and the site cleared for development.
