Unified Communications: Cutting the cost of communications

Some service providers make a business case for UC out of disrupting traditional telephony models.

Two of Ireland's fastest-growing communications providers, AirSpeed Telcom and Blueface, have built business models by disrupting traditional telecom services, dramatically cutting costs while retaining quality of service. Blueface will give small and medium-sized firms savings of between 35-40 per cent, while AirSpeed tempts companies away from the incumbent's network with the promise of cutting costs by between 40-50 percent.
