Unicorn revamp plans shelved until 2011

A plan to demolish and redevelop the popular Unicorn restaurant in Dublin city centre is on hold until 2011 because of the economic downturn.

A plan to demolish and redevelop the popular Unicorn restaurant in Dublin city centre is on hold until 2011 because of the economic downturn.

The owners of the restaurant, Jeff Stokes and Georgio Casari, had planned to spend up to €5 million developing a new restaurant, cabaret club, cookery school, bedroom suites, and conference centre cum ballroom on the site on Merrion Row.
