Unemployment rate falls to 13.6% in June - CSO
The standardised unemployment rate in June 2013 was 13.6 per cent, down from 13.7 per cent in May 2013, according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate from the most recent Quarterly National Household Survey (QNHS) was 13.7 per cent in the first quarter of 2013, the CSO said. On a seasonally adjusted basis the Live Register total recorded a monthly decrease of 2,500 in June 2013, reducing the seasonally adjusted total to 422,900.
