Ultralase, the British laser eye surgery group, has agreed a multimillion-euro deal to acquire Irish-owned chain Eye Laser Ireland.
Eye Laser Ireland operates clinics in Cork, Dublin and Limerick, but went into examinership in April with debts of €8 million. Ultralase has now agreed a deal to take the Irish company out of examinership.
