Ulster Bank plans Saturday openings

Ulster Bank is to open branches on Saturdays this year.

Ulster Bank is to open branches on Saturdays this year.

The bank will begin rolling out Saturday opening in selected locations in response to a similar initiative, launched last year, by NatWest, a sister company in the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) group.

The move will restore Saturday opening to the Irish branch banking landscape after the demise of Halifax.
