Ukrainian given E33k in permit row

A Ukrainian employee at a north Dublin cleaning company has be en awarded €33,600 by the Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT) following a dispute over a work permit.

Olga Dubyna, of Bessborough Parade, Dublin 6, had worked for Master Clean services since 2002. In October 2003, her employers told her that there was a problem with her application for awork permit and she stopped working for the company the following month.
