Ukraine's parliament has declared the presidential poll invalid, saying it "failed to show the voters' will".

Ukraine's parliament has declared the presidential poll invalid, saying it "failed to show the voters' will".

The parliament is holding an emergency session in a bid to resolve the standoff over the disputed presidential election.

Meanwhile, the European Union has said that the best outcome would be new elections.
