The government is planning to outsource some of the preparatory work for its proposed universal health insurance project.

The Department of Health is poised to appoint consultants to analyse the submissions it receives under its ongoing public consultation on universal health insurance.

According to tender documents, the department is seeking experts to provide a “thematic analysis” of the submissions. An initial nine-month contract, with the possibility of extension, will be awarded.
