UCD spinout Logentries, which provides machine data search technology, has been acquired by US security analytics firm Rapid7 in a deal worth $68 million

UCD spinout Logentries, which provides machine data search technology, has been acquired by US security analytics firm Rapid7 in a deal worth $68 million (€59.7 million).

Rapid7 will pay $36 million in cash and $32 million in Rapid7 shares for Logentries, which is headquartered in Boston but has a research and development team in Dublin.
