UCC's Tyndall Institute to partner with Covidien on research

University College Cork’s Tyndall National Institute has announced a strategic partnership with Covidien, a leading global provider of healthcare products.

University College Cork’s Tyndall National Institute has announced a strategic partnership with Covidien, a leading global provider of healthcare products.

More than €2 million will be invested focusing on Advanced Sensors Research for medical device respiratory technologies, said a statement from the IDA. Last week, Covidien announced that the Company and the IDA are jointly supporting several projects, representing an investment of more than €25 million.
