Tyrone firm builds Altnagelvin dialysis unit

A Tyrone-based specialist construction firm has won a £1.7m (€2.46 million) contract to build a new modular renal dialysis unit at Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Derry.

A Tyrone-based specialist construction firm has won a £1.7m (€2.46 million) contract to build a new modular renal dialysis unit at Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Derry.

Western Building Systems began work on the new 13,000 sq ft design and build contract earlier this month. Under the terms of the deal, it will oversee all landscaping and site development works in addition to the construction of the unit.
