Tycoons back O'Mahoney's international securities firm

Telecoms entrepreneur Denis O'Brien and property developer Paddy Kelly are among the who's who of Irish business believed to be backing former banker Tiarnan O'Mahoney in his new venture.

O'Mahoney,who quit Anglo Irish Bank in December, is assembling a team of high net worth investors to back his new company International Securities Trading Corporation (ISTC).
