Two of the country’s most prominent state transport agencies will be merged within a year as part of the government’s overhaul of state bodies.

Two of the country’s most prominent state transport agencies will be merged within a year as part of the government’s overhaul of state bodies.

A draft memorandum will be brought to cabinet in the coming weeks by Minister for Transport Leo Varadkar approving the merger of the National Roads Authority (NRA) and the Railway Procurement Authority (RPA), responsible for Luas and Metro North projects.
