Twitter to locate in Ireland

An IDA statement says that Twitter is to locate an office in Ireland

The Industrial Development Authority has said in a statement today that Twitter Inc. will open an international office in Dublin. The state-backed organisation responsible for attracting overseas investment didn’t say how many jobs would be created.

Speculation has been rife for months now that the social networking giant was sizing up Ireland as a location. Google and Facebook are already located in Dublin’s docklands.
