TV3 netted up to €300,000 in extra advertising revenue after taking the unusual step of auctioning ad slots for the finals of The X-Factor and The Apprentice.
Advertising sources said that the station secured an additional €200,000 to €300,000 from the auction of the 30-second slots for The X-Factor programmes last night and tonight, and the final of The Apprentice tomorrow.
