TV3 aims to bring social media closer to TV

TV3 has established a joint venture with Axonista, a Dublin-based broadcast technology company, to develop a TV companion app for the international market.

TV3 has established a joint venture with Axonista, a Dublin-based broadcast technology company, to develop a TV companion app for the international market.

The companies will trial the app in Ireland in 2013 - with a view to proving technology and commercial concept in TV3's initial version for the international market.
