Turnover up at Newstalk but losses continue

Radio station Newstalk 106-108 managed to grow its turnover by more than 70 per cent last year, but is still generating sizeable losses.

Newly-filed accounts for the station owned by Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp reveal that turnover hit €9.3 million in the year ending December 31, 2007, up from €5.4 million recorded in 2006.
