Turnover soars at Sports Surgery Clinic

Turnover at the Sports Surgery Clinic (SSC) backed by former Irish soccer international Kevin Moran soared by 70 per cent in 2009.

Accounts due to be filed with the Companies Office show the SSC in Dublin recorded a turnover of €20 million in 2009 - up from €11.7 million in 2008.

The SSC, which opened its doors in Santry Demesne in 2007, lost €2.7million last year.

Accounts for the year ending December 2008 show it recorded an operating loss of €5 million.
