Tullow Oil is expected to begin exploratory drilling in Kenya this year.

Kenya's government has said it expects four exploratory oil wells to be drilled in the East African country.

Kenyan energy ministry permanent secretary Patrick Nyoike said the well were being drilled by Tullow, Apache and Anadarko Petroleum.
