Tullow Oil has seen its shares slide after confirming that no significant oil has been found yet at its joint venture exploration well in French Guiana.

Tullow Oil has seen its shares slide after confirming that no significant oil has been found yet at its joint venture exploration well in French Guiana.

Its partner, Northern Petroleum, had issued a statement about the well - Tullow's second in the region - earlier today "without the approval of the operator or the joint venture partners", Tullow said.
