Tullow Oil: Kenya oil update

Tullow Oil has reported that its Ngamia-1 well in Kenya has encountered oil and gas from a depth of as much as 1,940 metres.

Tullow Oil has reported that its Ngamia-1 well in Kenya has encountered oil and gas from a depth of as much as 1,940 metres.

The oil company said reported reservoirs similar to those previously found at a shallower depth.

The well will continue to be drilled to a total depth of 2,700 metres, the company said today in a statement.
