Tullow abandons "water wet" Norwegian well

Oil exploration and production company Tullow Oil has plugged and abandoned its latest well off the Norwegian coast.

The company, which has an office in Dublin, announced that the 31/3-4 exploration well on the Mantra prospect offshore Norway has encountered reservoir quality sands but all intervals are water wet.
