Tullamore hotel renovation doubles size

The completion of a 12-month redevelopment project at the Tullamore Court Hotel in Co Offaly has doubled its size with a new conference centre and additional accommodation.

Work on the €12.5 million development project began in July 2005 and included a four-storey conference centre. Joe O’Brien, managing director of the Flanagan Group, which owns the hotel, said it could generate additional annual revenues of up to €5.2million for the locality, creating 50 new jobs over the next 12 months.
