C&C reported a drop in operating profits last week, but its whiskey brand Tullamore Dew has been punching above its weight thanks to a hefty increase in marketing investment.
Tullamore Dew’s volumes were up 22 per cent in the six months to August 31,according to its interim results, while other spirits brands, Carolans and Frangelico, were weak.
