The Revenue Commissioners awarded a contract for regional waste collection at 24 of their offices to Limerick company Mr Binman just 12 weeks ago.

An examiner was appointed to the waste company last Wednesday and Revenue, which is owed €1.5 million by Mr Binman, is sending out letters to debtors to pay outstanding bills to them, and not the firm.
