Trinity College Dublin has sought permission to turn a former bank in Dublin city centre into a restaurant, after giving up on plans for a ‘superpub’ at the site, writes Gavin Daly.
Trinity College Dublin has sought permission to turn a former bank in Dublin city centre into a restaurant, after giving up on plans for a ‘superpub’ at the site, writes Gavin Daly.
The university hopes to redevelop the banking hall of the former AIB branch at Foster Place into a large restaurant, while other parts of the property would be converted into a shop, classrooms and offices.
