Penne carbonara.

Can there be a more abused pasta recipe than carbonara? Traditionally, this is a simple dish of pasta tossed in a mix of egg yolks, parmesan and guanciale or pancetta, but in Ireland, you're far more likely to find it made with cream, chicken, mushrooms, peas or myriad other ingredients.
