Trial launched for online treatment of depression

With countless studies showing how different forms of depression can be successfully treated effectively online, it's not surprising that more mental health professionals are turning to the internet to help those with depression.

While Ireland has generally lagged behind other European countries when it comes to offering online therapy, all that may change with the rollout of the first national trial of an online treatment for depression.
