Treasury Holdings buys stake in Indian wind-energy company

Property development company Treasury Holdings, which is owned by Johnny Ronan and Richard Barrett, has bought a 26 per cent stake in wind-energy company GI Power, according to news reports in India.

Property development company Treasury Holdings, which is owned by Johnny Ronan and Richard Barrett, has bought a 26 per cent stake in wind-energy company GI Power, according to news reports in India.

The company has wind farms in Madhya Pradesh in central India and Karnataka in the south of the country.

According to Indian newspaper the Economic Times, the company generates 25 megawatts of power, but plans to increase capacity to 100 megawatts by the end...
