Travel problems topped the list of 3,365 complaints received by the European Consumer Centre (ECC) in Dublin last year, according to its annual report, published last week.
Almost one-third of the complaints related to travel, followed by complaints about goods and services bought over the internet, misleading advertising and cars. Most of the travel complaints arose from problems with air travel, such as flight delays and damage to and loss of luggage.
