Subsea cable system provider Emerald Networks is to route through Ireland a transatlantic cable it is laying to link the major financial centers of New York, London and Frankfurt, landing in Belmullet where it will go onward to London and continental Europe.
The subsea cable will be ready for service by Spring 2013, and the system will be the highest capacity, low latency, transatlantic cable system in order to meet the ever increasing high density...
