TradFest boosts Temple Bar takings by €6 million

The ‘ceol agus craic’ of the TradFest traditional Irish music festival held in Temple Bar, Dublin last month boosted takings in the area by almost €6 million, according to an economic assessment of the event.

The ‘ceol agus craic’ of the TradFest traditional Irish music festival held in Temple Bar, Dublin last month boosted takings in the area by almost €6 million, according to an economic assessment of the event.

The number of people visiting the area was up significantly during the five-day event, visitor numbers increasing by 50 per cent to 60,000 people, some 20 per cent of whom were from abroad.
