Toyota sales top one million
For the first time ever, Toyota has sold more than one million cars in Europe.
For the first time ever, Toyota has sold more than one million cars in Europe. The total came to 1,124,119 units. Lexus made up 50,540.
This is a 13 per cent increase in general, while Lexus sales are up by 76 per cent. The company now holds 5.84 per cent of the European market and more than 70 per cent of its cars are built locally.
During 2006, Toyota Ireland sold 30,589 vehicles.
