Tourism Ireland targets Russia and Brazil
Huge increase in number of nationals from both countries choosing to holiday in Ireland, writes Siobhán Brett.
Tourism Ireland will have established a presence in two of the world's fastest-developing markets - Brazil and Russia - by the end of the year.
The national tourism development authority is currently assessing international tenders for representation in both markets.
A previous contract notice for "destination marketing", for the Chinese market, was for three years and was valued at between €600,000 and €700,000.
