A survey by Elephant Smart Business has uncovered the most common excuses employees use for being late to clock in.

A new survey from Irish software company Elephant Smart Business, has uncovered the top five reasons people give their bosses for clocking in to work late.

According to the findings, “I’m stuck in traffic” is the most common excuse, with 28 per cent blaming traffic-related nightmares for their lateness.
