TomTom, Europe’s biggest maker of portable navigation devices, climbed as much as 24 per cent in Amsterdam, the biggest advance since June 2009, after profit beat analyst estimates and the company raised its forecast.

Third-quarter net income rose 50 per cent to €28.9 million compared with the €16 million average forecast of seven analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. Full-year revenue and earnings per share are predicted toward the upper end of a guidance range for sales...
