The Central Statistics Office has confirmed that the aggregate non-Irish population has been underestimated to the tune of 85,000.

The Central Statistics Office has confirmed that the aggregate non-Irish population has been underestimated to the tune of 85,000.

In addition, Fas states that Ireland now has one of the highest EU rates (15 per cent) of foreign participation in the labour force.

Finally, the EU itself has also reported that this country is now the most ‘multicultural’ of all EU member states.
